Working hours: ~825 hours Machine year: 2005 Tools (in order of workpiece flow): 1 calibrating head that will either: Square up the edge of the part or Square up the bottom edge of the part Lower 45 degree beveling diamond tool to remove excess material Upper 45 degree beveling diamond tool to remove excess material to prep for shaping 1 oscillating head (current a diamond tool but can be a polishing head) that creates the shape of the edge. We only use this on bullnose edges and on edges with a radius larger than 5 mm. 7 polishing heads that put the polish on the edge. The pressure of these can be adjusted to fine tune the edge dimensions and is typically determined at set up. 2 lower beveling polishing heads 2 upper beveling polishing heads 1 dripcut blade Edge types: The machine can do multiple thicknesses from 12-100 mm. Some common edge types that we create and polish 3 mm top and bottom 0.5-1.0 mm bevel on top and bottom 3mm top and 0.5-1.0mm bevel on bottom bullnose 12 mm radius on top and bottom Others include: Any radius top and bottom Sharknose essentially a large radius that connects to a smaller one Half bullnose Flat polish I am sure that there may be a few more that can be found on the Comandulli website. The saved programs: Ihave been told that hundreds of Programs can be stored on the machine to make a quick selection to change between edge types. History of our machine: - We had originally purchased a brand new one from Comandulli, however it wasnt going to be delivered until mid-September and we needed one for the summer. We found this used one for sale so we bought it solely to help with last summers production until our new machine came in during the fall. (We put on roughly 200-250 hrs on it.) Comandulli did the install and audited the machine. A few items that needed replaced included a solenoid valve, a few vertical rollers, and a door catch. - Previous owner had bought the machine brand new but put very few hours on it (around 6000. We knew about the solenoid valve issue in advance and took care of it. Power: 480V Air: 6-8 bar at 250 L/min Water: Consumes 180 L/min when all ports are opened Oil: 300 L of Hydraulic fluid
