Description Seller's comments:

OGYU - DW II L-2035

Bought in 2006

It has a 22kw 4P 240 V main drive motor.

It's designed for a 40 ton stone to go on the motorized cart. It will cut a little over 12.5, ft wide and over 6.5 ft tall. The actual dimensions of the throat are 13.5' wide by 7.5' tall. You could cut a stone that big if you wanted.

It measured 7.5 ft from the top of the carts deck to the bottom of the wire fully raised in the up position. It measures 13.5 ft side to side in the throat.

I have cut a couple stones over 12 ft wide in the past. This picture is with it fully raised. The saw is somewhat dirty in this picture from me cutting on this huge 9 ft petrified log.

-You can add the Optical tracing option to this saw if needed.

-Aprox. cutting hours are low. My wife died one month after it got installed so it sat for a while. I only cut rare and unique stuff. That's why it was bought, to cut open eggs, firestorm stone, pet. wood.

It hasn't even worn through half of the first set of urethane liners on the wheels. The one thing that has worn out and just got replaced was a set of bronze nuts and the safety screws for the upright screw gears. Those cost $2400.

Put it this way, I have consumed only 3.5 wires! The machine has a new wire on it at the moment. There also has been a Dura Pulse variable drive added to fine tune cutting specs/speeds on the different products I cut.

-The worst part about it is that right now it's dirty. There's a giant log currently on the saw from recent cutting and the saw grindings are now froze on everything from me cutting this early winter. The sun has faded the paint during our hot summers.

-Scheduled maintenance for 2012. There's several small bearings that drive the upright screws. They came on the machine. I plan to replace those with geasable bearings. When I do that then I can install a dust cover over the upright screws becase it will be apart..
